Experimenting with White Balance
My photograph is of a tape dispenser that is on my desk. The first photo was taken using tungsten setting. It turned out yellow. The second photo was taken using daylight setting, and it turned out a lighter yellow. The third photo was taken using fluorescent setting. This setting turned out the best because the tape dispenser was underneath a fluorescent desk light. The lighting in my room is also fluorescent. The color of the picture turned out an off-white shade, which is a roughly accurate portrayal (most successful of the three) of what the lighting and image look like in real life.

Sports Med Fun
This is one of my favorite photos because I had so much fun in sports medicine class during my sophomore and junior years. If I look back on those years, the good times I had in sports med would definitely stick out in my memory. This photo was taken in June 2009, and the people in it (in order from left to right) are Hannah Ng, Gloria Ku, Christine Chang, Lisa Lin, and me. That day, we went on a field trip for sports med to Palmer College of Chiropractic. We had the chance to examine two cadavers and several separate body organs. After examining the cadavers, we were briefly lectured about chiropractics. When I see this picture, I am reminded of the strong smell of formaldehyde in that room. In addition, this picture makes me feel happy because I am also reminded of the good ol' sports med days. Since I am not taking sports med for a third year, I am glad to have photos with which to look back.
